The movie tells the story of the prophet Jonah. Larry the cucumber, who is a character in the movie that takes the role of Jonah, learns about compassion and mercy through his own experiences.

But, Jonah doesn't do what God wants him to do. He runs away on a ship because he doesn't want to go to Nineveh, and that's where things start to get interesting!
